My eMail to the San Francisco Supervisors Regarding the "Cell Phone Right To Know Act"

Dear Esteemed San Francisco Supervisors:

The world is watching to see if you will stand up for the basic human rights of our people to be informed about the probable health hazards of electromagnetic radiation emitted by wireless devices or whether you will submit to an increasing tendency towards an enslavement of our government and our people in this country to corporate interests. Hence, I urge you all to do the right thing and please stand firm on May 7 in order to keep this landmark Cell Phone Right to Know legislation intact and to vote NO against any kind of settlement that would endanger people`s basic right to be able to make informed choices regarding their health and well-being. People have a right to be educated and have the right to be informed in the minimum of basic possible adverse effects of cell phone use at the point of sale related to these radiation emitting devices used by nearly every man, woman and child daily. The World Health Organization states this radiation is a possible human carcinogen based on an increased risk of brain cancer associated with wireless phone use.

Please continue to stand with your constituents and not with the telecom industry. Please continue to employ your Precautionary Principle ordinance. In the end, as people become increasingly informed about the truth regarding these radiation emitting devices and make wise choices regarding their health, the United States will ultimately be saving taxpayers’ money in health benefits as all kinds of illnesses are on the rise with direct causation and correlation to the exponential increase in electropollution in our environments. As an example, brain tumor rates are on the rise and the average cost of initial treatment of a brain tumor is over half a million dollars.

Thank you.

Respectfully,

Art KAB

“Many people, especially ignorant people, want to punish you for speaking the truth, for being correct, for being you. Never apologize for being correct, or for being years ahead of your time. If you’re right and you know it, speak your mind. Speak your mind. Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is still the truth.”   Gandhi

"Everything must be taken into account. If the fact will not fit the theory -- let the theory go.... Real evidence is usually vague and unsatisfactory. It has to be examined -- sifted. But here the whole thing is cut and dried. No, my friend, this evidence has been very cleverly manufactured -- so cleverly that it has defeated its own ends."
~ Agatha Christie, The Mysterious Affair at Styles
